Joan Eleazer is a fourth generation Dallasite and a graduate of Hillcrest High School and the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. She became a Broker/Associate with Charles Freeman Realtors in 1985 and has distinguished herself each year as a multi-million dollar producer. She has been the firm's number one producer for 7 of the last 10 years and was named a Vice President of the company in 1999 and Sr. Vice President in 2004. In 22 years as a Realtor, Joan has closed transactions totaling over $300,000,000.

Her professional designations include membership in the exclusive Masters of Residential Real Estate Network. The group is comprised of the top twenty-five real estate agents across the Metroplex who specialize in the upper-end market niche and who have met the closed sales performance requirements. She is also a member of two other networking groups, a tool that has enabled her to sell many properties not available to the entire market. Joan is also a Historic House Specialist, a designation provided by Preservation Dallas.

Joan has been named by D Magazine one of the top realtors in Dallas several times and one of 29 .Power Brokers. in the city, a designation based on experience in the field, reputation, and impressive sales volume. She was also named one of the best realtors in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine. Her commitment to our city and community is evidenced in her many accomplishments, which include her involvement with the Junior League of Dallas, Habitat for Humanity, The Crystal Charity Ball, and the Ronald McDonald House, where she has served as president of the Friends of the Ronald McDonald House Auxiliary.

As a native Dallasite, Joan is most familiar with the areas in which Briggs-Freeman specializes. These areas include the Park Cities and vicinity, Greenway Parks, Bluffview, Turtle Creek, Oak Lawn, Lakewood, East Dallas, Lake Highlands, Preston Hollow and North Dallas, including Bent Tree, Richardson and Plano. As a RELO� Relocation Specialist, Joan offers insight and sensitivity to the needs of families being relocated to the Dallas area. She extends the extra effort to make certain her clients are satisfied not only with their home, but also with schools, neighborhood and total environment.

In 2002, Joan added her daughter, Layne Pitzer, to her team, adding a new dimension to her business. Together they have reached new heights of achievement, evidenced by a new sales benchmark for the company in 2003.

Having grown up in a family long involved in residential real estate sales, Layne Pitzer was a natural when she decided to join Briggs-Freeman Real Estate Brokerage in 2002. A fifth generation native Dallasite, Layne graduated from Highland Park High School and the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in Business Foundations. Her professional background includes four years on the bond-trading floor at Southwest Securities, Inc. as well as a summer internship with ExxonMobil Corporation. Layne's bilingual skills are an added asset for her customers and clients.

Joining her mother, Joan Eleazer, Sr. Vice President and Company top producer for 22 years, Layne understands the commitment that being a residential and relocation specialist commands. First hand knowledge of the communities in which she specializes and the ability to take a client from start to finish and create a seamless transaction have resulted in numerous referrals for Layne. Pitzer says, "Briggs-Freeman is like family to me, and residential real estate has become second nature. Friends have become clients and clients have all become friends. The satisfaction of accomplishing the sale for the benefit of the client is the most rewarding aspect of our business."

Layne's commitment to our community is evident through her involvement with the Junior League of Dallas, Interfaith Housing Coalition, Women.s Auxiliary to Children.s Medical Center and Ronald McDonald House - Young Friends Group. She understands the value of giving to others, and has been successful in translating that energy to the clients who look to her for guidance in the housing market.

Layne is married to Gavin Pitzer, also a native Dallasite. Layne and Gavin have one son and a black lab. The Pitzer Family resides in the Park Cities.

Jeff Eleazer is a veteran sales and marketing professional. Having honed his sales and negotiating skills for more than 30 years, he joined his wife, Joan Eleazer a top producer and senior vice president at Briggs Freeman Real Estate Brokerage, in 2006. Along with their daughter, Layne Pitzer, he completes the team forming a personal, dynamic, family- oriented real estate group.

Jeff is involved with marketing initiatives and online web presence for the group, as well as being an integral part of the sales team. His knowledge of the Park Cities and North Dallas areas and his involvement in the community lend to the overall effectiveness of this award-winning group.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Jeff has been involved in community activities since moving to Dallas in 1970. Habitat for Humanity, Genesis Women.s Shelter and Highland Park United Methodist Church outreach are some of his focus areas. Jeff has translated his community spirit to his clients over the years and continues this attitude of service and integrity in representing Briggs Freeman Real Estate Brokerage
